Before I arrive
Choose a day that feels fairly normal at home. If your cat tends to hide from visitors, you can place them in a small room beforehand, unless that causes more stress.

Your visit
The best at-home care starts with a plan that respects your cat’s routine, signals, and personal space.

Your cat gets a chance to notice me, with a quiet voice, patient distance, and no unnecessary rush.
Every cat responds differently. I watch their cues, approach them only once I’m confident they will tolerate it, take breaks when needed, and only continue when they are ready.
Many cats get more comfortable as their care routine becomes familiar. I’ll help you understand what made this visit work and share suggestions for making the next one even better.
A helpful heads-up
Fear, reactivity, and even seemingly aggressive behaviors are information, not a moral failing. I work with what your cat is telling me and adjust the plan accordingly.
Plan your first visitA scheduling note
Appointments are scheduled with a one-hour arrival window. I travel across a wide service area, and traffic and parking, especially in the city, can shift timing. I’ll text you with a more exact ETA when I’m heading to you from my previous appointment.
Please plan to be available for one and a half to two hours following the start of your arrival window, depending on the service. New clients may need additional time while I get to know how their cat responds to handling. If needed, I may ask for your help with gentle restraint or distraction.
